invitent \u00e0 d\u00e9couvrir leur campagne et un peu de leur histoire.<\/p><p>Situ\u00e9 aux portes de la Bourgogne, Coussegrey s&#8217;est appel\u00e9 dans un pass\u00e9 lointain<br \/>Curtis Secreta (Cour secr\u00e8te). Blotti au milieu des vallons environnants, cette situation justifie son appellation.<br \/>La Chapelle St Jacques, \u00e9rig\u00e9e \u00e0 la collation de G\u00e9rard de Noiron est une chapelle rurale. Au dessous de la croix, qui est en pierre, est represent\u00e9,<br \/>en faible relief, le Christ au tombeau avec les Saintes Femmes. La voie romaine, aujourd&#8217;hui disparue, ne retient plus<br \/>l&#8217;attention du marcheur, pourtant vous la suivrez sur quelques centaines de m\u00e8tres juste apr\u00e8s la chapelle,<br \/>chemin de Troyes.<\/p><p>L&#8217;\u00e9glise, (IMH) sous le vocable de l&#8217;assomption, est du XII\u00e8me si\u00e8cle, sauf le transept qui est<br \/>du XVI\u00e8me; le plan est en forme de croix latine, le chevet plat. Dans le mur sud du transept, \u00e0 l&#8217;ext\u00e9rieur,<br \/>est un bas relief du XVIe , repr\u00e9sentant la R\u00e9surrection de Lazare, avec l&#8217;\u00e9pitaphe d&#8217;Ithier Gauchet, pr\u00eatre, mort le<br \/>12 juillet 1554; \u00e0 l&#8217;int\u00e9rieur quelques objets, statues *(C), tableaux class\u00e9s \u00e0 l&#8217;inventaire des monuments<br \/>historiques. Au X\u00e8me si\u00e8cle, Coussegrey \u00e9tait une terre d&#8217;\u00e9glise et d\u00e9pendait servilementde l&#8217;abbaye de St Michel de Tonnerre.<br \/>Quelques si\u00e8cles plus tard ,
